The Love of the Tayamni series

The Tayamni are a technologically advanced, Matriarchal society of humanoid creatures from Mussara, a moon orbiting the gas giant, Nirgal. The gas giant, in turn, orbits within a binary star system they call Tayamni-Pa, the head of the animal.

Since Tayamni-Pa is 400 lightyears away, you might ask why the Tayamni came to Earth at a time before homo-sapiens had evolved into existence. Early on in the first book, we discover why. They came to save a species with great potential from extinction. They came to save Homo-Erectus.

But, as we discover, millennia before coming to Earth to save humanity from extinction, the Tayamni almost went extinct themselves.

Their chance at survival was given by another, even more advanced group of humanoid creatures from another universe. They were given a chance at survival by creatures from åyAm, the Nine Technological Worlds of åyAm.

In those more ancient times, the Tayamni had almost destroyed themselves. They had not been called Tayamni, for Tayamni means animal. That is, animal, as opposed to machine. In the time before, they had replaced more and more of their bodies with technology. Over time, they became more machine than animal. It was only with the help of the Nine that they became, once again, purely organic creatures. They became animal, once more. They became Tayamni.
